We would be delighted to invite you to our gala dinner and given the forthcoming EU referendum, post dinner The City Forum will be hosting our own EU debate. We are delighted to be welcoming two guest speakers, one from each side of the argument to attempt to persuade us that we should either stay in or exit.
We are delighted that we will be welcoming Father Andrew Stringfellow who will talk to us about “the power of living on the margins”. Father Andrew is a catholic priest working in the inner city of Manchester for the last ten years and is also sought as a speaker on leadership and education.
We are delighted to be joined by Barbara Schönhofer who will tell us all the “Behaviours and Leadership skills required for the C-Suite.” Barbara is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, International Executive Search, for The Jacobson Group where she manages Board and senior management search assignments.
Hugo Turner is one half of the Turner Twins. They’re two charismatic brothers whose curiosity has set them on an unconventional life path that searches for answers by attempting new quests which combine pioneering medical research and unique studies of historic expeditions.
The Gala Dinner is always a splendid finale to the City Forum season and this event has the makings of a fantastic evening with guest speaker Robert Hayward OBE addressing our members and their guests in the beautiful surroundings of the Honourable Artillery Company.
We started the 2014/2015 season with a heavyweight speaker from the insurance industry. Vincent Vandendael is a member of the Executive Board of Lloyd’s and as Director, International Markets had much to share with The City Forum about the hopes and aspirations for the Lloyd’s market globally.
Before the Luncheon season kicked off we held a less formal event to give members that had joined since April the chance to meet the members of the Committee and other members in order to learn a bit more about the City Forum and what they could hope to contribute to and achieve from their membership.
